Our In Network
Dental Insurance Partners
Being in-network means a dentist has agreed to participate in a specific insurer's network. That contract generally establishes lower fees for services. Your plan may also reimburse at a lower rate and any remaining patient costs will vary.
Two families with the same insurer may have different benefits. Please review your plan before scheduling to understand the timing, coverage, and the service structure of your plan.
Using Dental Insurance Outside the Network
When we are outside your dental plan's network, many PPO plans include out-of-network benefits, although reimbursement and your share of the cost may differ. Some plans require participating providers and provide no benefit for routine care outside the network.
Other insurers commonly used by our patients with eligible employer-sponsored dental plans include:
Have another employer-sponsored dental plan? Contact us with the exact plan name to verify eligibility. The insurer's name alone does not establish acceptance or network participation. State-funded plans are not accepted.
Greece Dental Insurance Questions
Are Cigna and MetLife in-network at Greece?
Yes, Cigna and MetLife are in-network at Greece Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, along with Excellus Dental and Delta Dental. Your specific networks and the benefits may vary between carriers and plan types.
Can you skip the Cigna or Anthem visit?
There is no required referral at Greece. You may schedule directly. Some plans may have a primary care provider or referral requirement. Please check your plan before scheduling.
Will my PPO pay the same amount outside the network?
Reimbursement rates differ between in-network and out-of-network treatment. The balance you pay may include that difference as well as your deductible and coinsurance portion.
Can we use our regular dental benefits for orthodontics?
Many dental plans do not include orthodontic benefits or they may have a separate lifetime maximum and age limits. Please review your benefits summary or contact your insurer to confirm the available options for orthodontic care.
How can I check coverage for my child?
Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card. Ask about your child's benefits, deductibles, co-pays, and any waiting periods. You can also request a pre-treatment estimate after your child's exam.
Can we schedule without insurance?
Yes. Ask us about our House Plan, membership, and payment options. Our House Plan provides comprehensive preventive care at a flat annual fee. Our team can explain all the available options for your treatment needs.
How Network Status Affects Your Payment
An insurer may pay a different share for out-of-network treatment. No payment calculation can also use an allowed amount that is lower than the office fee. Depending on the policy, the balance you pay may include that difference as well as your deductible and coinsurance portion.
Before treatment, we ask about the estimated benefit and your share of the cost. The estimate is not a guarantee of payment; the insurer makes its final determination after reviewing the claim.
Payment Options for Your Family
We accept HSA and FSA payments for eligible expenses, credit and debit cards, CareCredit, checks, and cash. We also provide office financing arrangements. If your insurance is out-of-network or you do not have coverage, ask our team about our in-office payment plan. We can be used to pay for care without insurance or for the portion your dental plan does not cover.
Credit & Debit Cards
You can pay with a credit or debit card. A debit card uses funds from your bank account; a credit card uses your credit card available balance. We accept all major credit cards. Contact us with a question about an accepted card.
CareCredit
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that can be used for dental care and other health services. It separates financing from your credit card balance. Ask which financing options are available for your treatment plan, dental coverage, and any other questions you may have about approved CareCredit financing.
HSA / FSA
A Health Savings Account (HSA) lets eligible account holders use pre-tax savings for qualified medical expenses. A Flexible Spending Account (FSA) is an employer-sponsored benefit that lets you set aside pre-tax income for eligible expenses. Dental care expenses qualify for common services; tax may vary. Confirm eligibility with your insurer administrator and keep your receipts. These accounts can be used together with insurance or as a standalone payment.
Office Financing
Ask about financing and payment arrangements managed directly by our office. Our team can explain which payment options are eligible for your dental plan, payment schedule, interest or fees that may apply. Availability and terms are determined by the office and may vary based on treatment type and balance.
Cash & Checks
We also accept checks and cash. Ask our team about the amount due and check payment details before your visit. These methods pay the office directly while we provide financing.
